By using Utilon, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Account Information

When you create an account via Google OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We store this to identify your account and provide personalized features.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you interact with our services, including:

• Pages visited and features used
• Browser type, operating system, and device type
• IP address (used for rate limiting and approximate location)
• Referring URLs
• Speed test results (if you choose to save them)

Content You Upload

Files you upload for processing (PDFs, images, etc.) are handled transiently — they are processed in memory or temporary storage and not retained after your session ends unless you explicitly save them to your account.

Bio & Portfolio Data

Information you provide for your bio page, portfolio, links, and forms is stored in our database and may be publicly accessible if you publish it.

• Provide the Service — to authenticate you, display your profile, and enable all features.
• Analytics — to understand usage patterns and improve the Service.
• Communication — to send service-related notifications (no marketing spam without consent).
• Security — to detect abuse, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service.
• Billing — to process payments for Pro subscriptions.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We use a session cookie created by NextAuth to keep you logged in. This cookie is essential for authentication and cannot be disabled if you wish to use account features.

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. No third-party ad networks have access to your browsing activity on Utilon.

Your data is stored in a Supabase PostgreSQL database with encrypted connections (TLS). Uploaded files are stored via Vercel Blob with access controls. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data.

While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Google OAuth — for sign-in authentication. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Vercel — our hosting provider. Vercel may collect server-side usage data.
• Vercel Blob — for file storage.
• Resend — for transactional emails (e.g., contact form replies).
• ipapi.co — for ISP lookup during speed tests (IP address is sent to this service).

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

Anonymized aggregated usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate data.
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data. You can do this from Dashboard → Settings → Delete Account.
• Portability — request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.
• Objection — object to certain processing of your data.

Our Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.
